Bruce Odle
President
Bruce Odle is President of US PRESSWIRE, LLC. and USPW Media Holdings, LLC. He has been instrumental in the management and overall growth of US PRESSWIRE, LLC and sits on the board of USPW Media Holdings, LLC. , the majority shareholder of US PRESSWIRE. Bruce served as a consultant to US PRESSWIRE before joining the company permanently. He has continued to develop US PRESSWIRE into a global leader in sports image content and positioning the company for significant market growth.
Bruce has extensive background and experience in business development, management and business law. He formerly was a founder and executive of a therapeutic and learning technology company that grew from "start-up" to market leader during his ten years with the company.
He is a graduate of Purdue University and Drake University Law School.
Jerry Lai
Director of Photography
Jerry Lai serves as the Director of Photography for US PRESSWIRE. Lai is responsible for the overall management of the photo production and will lead the company’s team of photo editors, photo desk and its dedicated and experienced photographer network. In addition to being a very accomplished photographer, Jerry oversees the management function of the company workflow criteria and standards, and will continue to lead the editorial and news operations to new levels while maintaining a high level of service and support to meet our customer’s demands.
Jerry’s vast experience in photojournalism includes serving as a contributing photographer for news, sports, and entertainment assignments for all the major wire services, including the Associated Press, Getty Images, and Reuters prior to joining US PRESSWIRE.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and was appointed to his current role of Director of Photography in September of 2009.
Nick Carter
Director of Technology
Nick Carter serves as the Director of Technology and is responsible for the development, execution and management of the US PRESSWIRE technology strategy. He is also responsible for the global infrastructure to serve the business needs of the US PRESSWIRE media members, customers and partners. Nick oversees the strategy for growth and development of US PRESSWIRE’s field operations technology solutions. His background centers on his ability to create stable and reliable systems.
He has over 11 years in Information Technology service and systems management. Prior to joining US PRESSWIRE, Nick served 10 years as a systems analyst at DASNet Systems where he was responsible for multiple business’ applications and platforms, creating complex interconnected systems to meet the needs of a diverse client base.
Nick attended Florida Atlantic University, is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys restoring classic cars. He lives in Northern Florida with his wife Brittney.
Dan Helms
Managing Editor
Dan Helms is the Managing Editor for sports at US PRESSWIRE. He is responsible for strategic planning of day to day global sports coverage including logistical planning for major event coverage. (Olympics, Super Bowl, World Series, World Cup). He oversees the field operations specific to US PRESSWIRE sports coverage and photographer relations.
He brings over 30 years experience to US PRESSWIRE in the sports photojournalism industry including the past two years in his current role. Prior to joining US PRESSWIRE, Dan was President and Director of NewSport. His background includes being a photojournalist for many years as well as a contract photographer at Duomo.
Helms worked on assignment for almost every major magazine in the country: Time, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, US News, Forbes, Fortune, National Geographic, USA Today, NY Times, TV Guide and has covered 12 Olympics (as both photographer and operations manager), most major sports events, and a host of news stories including space shuttle launches, the U.S. invasion of Panama, US Customs & military operations against drug smuggling the Haitian boatlift, hurricanes, a Presidential inauguration, and the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana.
Dan is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in political science and two years of study at Washington & Lee University School of Law. He enjoys wine, travelling and of course, Auburn football.
Ed Rosato
Controller
Ed Rosato is the controller for US PRESSWIRE. His responsibility is the administration of the financial operations, including accounting, reporting, policy and internal controls. Ed serves the company in strategic planning and development of financial matters relative to overall operations.
His background includes 10 years as bank officer at Second National Bank in addition to many years as a bookkeeper and consultant. Prior to joining US PRESSWIRE, lived and worked in New York City for Zeckendorf in the real estate market.
